Causal tree methodology for safety events

The purpose of this document is to support the SMS Manager and generally all the personnel involved in the investigation of safety events. By safety event we mean every event or hazardous situation which could impact the safety of personnel or the safe operations of aircrafts. It describes the main principles to be applied when using the causal tree methodology.
